What a busy month! Denny has 1 therapy, 3 times a week and 1 therapy, 4 times! In between, we have family, other Dr. appts. and other just appts. Then, whatever falls in between, like baking, Easter preps. You get the picture! Today, just the Dr. Not complaining! So to share, I get up at 3:00 am! Not bragging! That’s my inner clock! I am selfish, I want and need time for me! Sometimes, 1:30 am or 2:00 am! No way could I get through a day without God first! Very special time for just Jesus and me! I go through a lot of Kleenex! Lol! Cleansing, healing and joyful tears all at once! I have learned through recovery, that’s all ok! Just don’t stay there! It’s all right to revisit whatever you need to make peace with, just don’t stay there! So, when I start my busy day, I only look at today! One day at a time! The whole picture is overwhelming! Just can’t do it! I am a multitasker! You just learn to be! I am content with my schedule! Morning walking will be starting soon! Truly cannot wait for it to get lighter! In town Woodville Rd. was like daylight! Today is an Anniversary! We have been here, in my childhood home now for 1 whole year! Everyone is still alive! Lol! All kidding aside, my mom is a gem, it has been a sacrifice for her also! We laugh a lot, it is good for the soul! Time to start the day! Beagle is getting groomed for Easter also! She is such a blessing! I, sooooo love my Beagle! I apologize for no posting yesterday! This blogging thing is a lot to learn! Yes, I want to! I did not want to learn anything growing up, now, I am like a sponge! Lost time! I have been writing poetry pertaining to mine and our life as a family, with healing and recovery tossed in there! It has been very therapeutic! I am loving! Whatever you have to do to heal and move forward, choose a positive something! Journaling, also good therapy! Started in 2014, love it! God bless! Good evening family, friends and all others who are curious about what I have to share! I am Marilyn Bodi Reed, 66 yrs. old, Christian, married to Denny 42 yrs. I am a Mother, Stepmother, and Grandmother! Let me say up front, I am not an expert! But, I have made a lot of life style changes through many experiences, some by choice, some by circumstance, some very bad, harmful, hurtful decisions along the way and the negative affects from thinking I did not have a choice! Blaming all of my ills on everybody, except me! On my blog, I will be sharing and discussing, food addiction, weight loss through gastric bypass, diet, exercise, addiction , recovery, mental illness, bipolar, importance of the right meds, joint replacements, family life, marriage, forgiveness, unplanned illness and what it can do, Parkinson’s, caregiving, staying positive at this stage in our lives! Turning negative choices into positive choices, applying them to your life, and there is always another choice! That’s to name a few, all of the things mentioned have touched my life! I choose Joy and Happiness and God who supplies me with both even through the hard stuff! This has been and is my journey, changing for my life and never ending love and care for Denny!
